Rebetchi terms of service

These terms of service ("terms") are a binding agreement between you and Sean As A Service, LLC, a Georgia limited liability company doing business as Rebetchi ("Rebetchi", "we", "us"). They govern your use of the Rebetchi websites, Rebetchi Manage, the Rebetchi Play player portal and mobile app, and the game-server hosting services we provide (together, the "service"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

Rebetchi provides managed game-server hosting. Each hosting plan includes:

• A dedicated game-server instance with its own dedicated IP address and join address.
• Rebetchi Play — the player portal and mobile companion app for your server's players — at no charge to them. The portal is live today for Palworld; each other game's Rebetchi Play experience arrives with that game as it comes on sale.
• Certified game updates: when a game publisher releases an update, we hold the fleet on the current certified version until we have certified the new one, targeting certification within 24–48 hours. Your server updates only to versions we have certified.
• Automated daily backups with tier-based retention, plus manual backups (see section 7).
• Scheduled restarts with in-game warnings.
• DDoS mitigation provided through our datacenter provider.

We host the games listed on our games page. Today Palworld is on general sale; Terraria, 7 Days to Die, Project Zomboid, and Valheim run on our hardware and open for sale as each one's pricing is finalized. Game titles are the property of their respective publishers. Rebetchi is a fan-made, independent hosting provider and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any game publisher. Palworld and related marks are trademarks of Pocketpair, Inc.; Terraria and related marks are trademarks of Re-Logic; 7 Days to Die and related marks are trademarks of The Fun Pimps; Project Zomboid and related marks are trademarks of The Indie Stone; Valheim and related marks are trademarks of Iron Gate AB (published by Coffee Stain Publishing). Rebetchi is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any of these companies. Some images shown in the service — for example the item, creature and structure icons and the world map in Rebetchi Play — are derived from the game's own assets and remain the property of the game's publisher. They are used only to identify in-game content; we claim no rights in them, and we do not distribute the game, its files, or its binaries.

2. Accounts and eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to create a Rebetchi account. Children under 13 are not permitted to create accounts (see our privacy policy).
• You must provide accurate account and billing information and keep it current.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Notify us promptly at support@rebetchi.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
• If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it to these terms.
• Do not share your account or your credentials. Delegation is not built yet: there is currently no way to give someone else their own login for your server, so if you need help running it you will have to be the one who acts in the panel. We are building co-admin accounts, each with their own login and their own audit trail, and we will say so here when they exist. Until then, sharing a password is not something we are asking you to do — it is a gap on our side, and we would rather name it than let this section imply an option you do not have.
• Accounts and services are not transferable. You may not assign or transfer these terms, your account, your server, or your community to anyone else without our prior written consent. Any attempted transfer without that consent is void.
• Associated accounts. We may treat accounts under common control as associated, and may suspend or terminate all of them together where one is used to evade a limitation, suspension, chargeback, payment restriction, or other enforcement action.

3. Plans, billing, and payment

• Plans are billed as recurring monthly subscriptions at the prices shown on our pricing page and at checkout. Optional add-ons (such as Community Pro) are billed as additional line items on the same subscription.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Rebetchi does not receive or store your full card details. Charges appear on your statement under the descriptor REBETCHI.
• Applicable taxes are calculated and added at checkout.
• Upgrades and downgrades between plans are prorated. Changing plan is not available yet; see our refund policy for what that means and when it changes.
• We do not offer free trials. Promotional discounts (such as a first-month discount) apply only as described at checkout, and the current first-month discount is limited to new accounts.
• You can cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not by itself trigger a refund (see our refund policy). Cancelling is currently done by emailing support@rebetchi.com — the cancel control in Rebetchi Manage's billing area is not built yet.

4. Payment failure, suspension, and termination for non-payment

If a renewal payment fails, the following lifecycle applies:

1. Days 1–7 — retry period. Stripe automatically retries the payment. Your server keeps running, and we email you about each failed attempt.
2. Day 7 — suspension. If payment has not succeeded by day 7, your instance is stopped. Your data remains intact and your join address and dedicated IP are held for you. Paying the outstanding balance restores service.
3. Day 21 — termination. If payment has not succeeded by day 21, your instance is terminated. We take a final backup of your server data and retain it for 30 days.
4. Day 51 — purge. After the 30-day retention period, the final backup is permanently deleted. Paying at any time before the purge restores your service, including restoring from the final backup if your instance was terminated.

5. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our refund policy, which is incorporated into these terms. In summary: a 72-hour money-back guarantee applies to your first instance purchase, claimed by emailing support@rebetchi.com inside the window; renewals and add-ons are non-refundable by default.

6. Acceptable use

Your use of the service is subject to our acceptable use policy, which is incorporated into these terms. We may suspend or terminate instances or accounts that violate it, as described there.

7. Backups and your data

• We run automated daily backups of your server's world and save data. Retention depends on your plan: Core keeps 7 daily backups and 5 manual backup slots; Plus keeps 14 and 10; Ultra keeps 30 and 20. Backups are stored with our storage provider, Backblaze B2.
• Backups are provided as a convenience and on a best-effort basis. They are not a guarantee against data loss, and we encourage you to download copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
• You retain all rights you hold in your server data, world saves, and community content. You grant us the licenses needed to host, store, back up, process, and display that data in order to operate the service — including parsing save data to power features in Rebetchi Manage and Rebetchi Play.
• On termination of your subscription, your data is retained and then deleted according to the schedule in section 4 and our privacy policy.

8. Server owners and their communities

If you operate a server, you are the operator of your community. You are responsible for the content your community posts or shares through community features (announcements, community portal pages, and similar), for moderating it, and for how you use player-management tools. Rebetchi provides the platform; you run the community. See the acceptable use policy for what is not allowed.

9. Maintenance and changes to the service

• We may perform maintenance, apply certified game updates, and run scheduled restarts as part of operating the service. Where practical, restarts are scheduled and announced in-game.
• Because we certify game updates before rollout, your server may briefly remain on an older game version than public servers while certification is in progress (target 24–48 hours).
• We may change or discontinue features of the service. If we materially reduce what your paid plan includes, we will give you reasonable notice.

10. Intellectual property

The service — including the Rebetchi name, websites, panel, apps, and software — is owned by Sean As A Service, LLC or its licensors. These terms do not grant you any rights in it except the limited right to use the service as provided. Game clients, game server software, and game content belong to their respective publishers and are governed by their own licenses.

11. Third-party services

The service depends on third-party providers, including our payment processor, infrastructure and hosting providers, storage provider, and datacenter provider. We are not responsible for outages or failures of third-party services beyond our reasonable control, though we will work in good faith to restore service.

12. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of data loss.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) neither Rebetchi nor Sean As A Service, LLC will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill; and (b) our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the amounts you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

14. Indemnification

You will indemnify and hold harmless Sean As A Service, LLC and its members, officers, and agents from claims arising out of your content, your community, your violation of these terms or the acceptable use policy, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

15. Termination by us

We may suspend or terminate your account or instances for material breach of these terms or the acceptable use policy, for non-payment as described in section 4, or where required by law. Where reasonable, we will notify you and give you a chance to cure. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including sections 7, 10, and 12–17) survive.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes we will give notice (for example by email or a notice in the panel) before the changes take effect. Continuing to use the service after the effective date of updated terms constitutes acceptance.

17. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that is not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Forsyth County, Georgia, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Small claims. Either of us may bring an individual claim in small-claims court in Forsyth County, Georgia, instead of the courts described above, so long as the claim stays in that court and is brought individually.

Class-action waiver. You and Rebetchi each agree to bring claims only individually, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding.
