Your community and player list
Last updated August 28, 2026
Where to see who plays on your server, how to kick or ban someone, and what Rebetchi means by "community". Written for someone who has just bought a server.
1. The player list
Sign in at manage.rebetchi.com, pick your server, then open Players in the sidebar.
The top of the list shows two numbers: how many players are online right now, and how many players the server has ever seen. Everyone who has joined stays listed after they leave, so this is a history as well as a live view.
Each row shows:
- the in-game name, with the player's platform account id underneath
- the platform: Steam, Xbox or PlayStation
- whether they are online
- total playtime accumulated on this server
- when they were last seen
- whether they have a linked Rebetchi account (see section 4)
The list refreshes about every 15 seconds. Presence and playtime are recorded only while your server is running; while it is stopped nothing new is recorded and you are looking at the last known state. A new server shows an empty list until somebody connects.
2. Kick, ban and unban
Every row has three buttons.
- Kick disconnects the player immediately. They can rejoin straight away. This is only available while that player is online.
- Ban disconnects them and blocks them from rejoining until you unban them. You can add an optional reason of up to 200 characters.
- Unban lets a banned player join again.
All three run through the game server's own API, so the server has to be online. When it is stopped, the buttons are disabled and the list shows a "Server offline" badge.
The actions are queued rather than instant. The panel confirms that it has queued the action, and the list updates on its next refresh. If a kicked player is still shown as online for a few seconds, that is the refresh interval, not a failure.
Bans key on the player's platform account id, not their in-game name, so changing name in game does not get around one.
There is no separate list of banned players. To unban someone, find their row in the player list — they stay listed — and use Unban there.
There is no whitelist or allowlist control. Palworld's dedicated server API has no whitelist command, so we do not show a switch that could not work.
To send a message to everyone on the server at once, use Announce on the Console page.
3. What "community" means here
A community is your server's public identity and its member list. Every server has exactly one, created when you bought it. It is not an extra you buy, and it is not your plan. If you run two servers you have two communities, with separate settings and separate rosters.
Community in the sidebar shows three things for that server:
- Portal address — the web address reserved for your community. It was set when you bought the server and cannot be changed in the panel. Contact support@rebetchi.com if you genuinely need a different one.
- Branding — a display name of up to 48 characters, a short description of up to 280, and a logo given as a direct
https://link. An accent colour is part of the Community Pro add-on and stays locked without it; with Pro, the accent retints the portal your players open. - Invites — codes you can create and revoke. Read section 4 before you hand any out.
The member count beside the heading counts Rebetchi accounts attached to the community — you, plus every player who has joined through one of your invites. That is a different list from the player list in section 1: kicking or banning someone in game does not change community membership, and community membership does not affect who can join the game.
4. Rebetchi Play — where your invites lead
Rebetchi Play is live for Palworld. Your players open it on the web — an invite link takes them straight there — and a mobile app is on its way to the App Store and Google Play. Each other game gets its own Rebetchi Play as that game comes on sale. Three things follow from that:
- Invite links work. Create an invite under Community and hand out the link, or let someone scan its QR. A player who opens it signs in, becomes a member of your community, and lands in your server's portal. Hand out invite links rather than the bare portal address — the invite is what makes someone a member.
- What players see there: live server status and who is online, their own character — inventory, Pals, progress, technology — the world map, and player tools. It is read-and-explore for players; none of your panel controls are exposed to them.
- Linking accounts works. A player on Steam can link their in-game character to their Rebetchi account from the portal, and once they do, their row in your player list shows it. There is no self-serve link for console players yet — you can attach a character to a member yourself from the Players page.
Two other gaps you may run into:
- Co-admins. The panel has no control for giving somebody else access to your server. Email support@rebetchi.com — there is no self-serve control for this yet.
- Community Pro. It can be chosen when you buy a server. The panel cannot add it to a server you already own; email support@rebetchi.com.
Still stuck? Email support@rebetchi.com and tell us your server name — we can see the logs from here.
